1. *Prepare the Mix*: In a large mixing bowl, combine the Chex cereal and pecans. Set aside.
2. *Make the Caramel Sauce*: In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add brown sugar and corn syrup. Stir until combined and bring to a boil.

4. *Add Baking Soda and Vanilla*: Remove the saucepan from heat. Stir in the baking soda, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. The mixture will foam up slightly.
